- the Quad was originally called the ‘Quadrangle’
- the Windmoor Campus houses stolen trees- Mother Evelyn O’ Neil was approached by a salesman selling trees for a low cost. She accepted, but later learned the trees had been uprooted and stolen from Swope Park; no one pressed charges
- yard days, Frosh Fest, and many other school-sponsored events are held in the Quad annually
