Volleyball departs for State Championship
The STA volleyball team left this morning for the championship tournament in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

After defeating Oak Park High School 2-0 and Raymore-Peculiar High School 2-0 Oct. 24, the St. Teresa’s Academy volleyball team is heading to the MSHSAA Class 4 Volleyball Championships for the first time since 2006.
STA will begin playing tomorrow Oct. 30 at the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo. vs. Ozark High School at 3 p.m., according to STA Assistant Athletic Director Ty Abney. The Stars will then move on to either the Championship or Consolation portion of the bracket Oct. 31.
Admission to the game is $7, but if you cannot attend MSHSAA will broadcast all tournament games on Prepcasts.com.
