Foo’s Fabulous Frozen Custard

Established in June of 1988, Foo’s has been the original custard shop in Kansas City. Foo’s is a neighborhood ice cream shop and is recognized all across Kansas City. Foo’s has two different locations, one in Brookside and one in Leawood. According to Foo’s employee Fee Pauwels, the “I Kid You Not” and “Cookie Dough Crumble” are the most ordered concretes. The “I Kid You Not” contains pretzels, caramel, and Heath bar and the “Cookie Dough Crumble” contains peanut butter, chocolate chips, and cookie dough.

Murray’s Ice Cream

Since 1984, Murray’s has been locally serving Kansas City ice cream, cookies, and coffee. Their food is pretty cheap and is from $1.00-$10.00. With seasonal ice cream flavors like Pumpkin and Cinnamon Graham Cracker, Murray’s keeps the flavors fresh and exciting.

Sheridan’s Frozen Custard

Located in six different locations all across the country, Sheridan’s offers many different flavors and combinations for customers including ice cream, lattes, smoothies and shakes. According to Sheridan’s employee Averie Stapp the most ordered concrete is the “Dirt & Worms” which is made with fresh vanilla custard blended with Oreo cookies and topped with chocolate sprinkles and gummy worms. Sheridan’s custard is freshly made and they always use fresh fruit in their ice cream and smoothies.

Yogurtini Self-Serve

Yogurtini is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop that includes original flavors and flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. With 10-16 flavors in-store every day Yogurtini rotates their flavors regularly and offers over 65 toppings to add to your frozen yogurt.
