Day two complete!
It’s been a fantastic day. As a group we all agree today was a big change; we feel something has changed for us plungers.
Our service today was very interaction based, which is different bird entirely.
In a positive way, though. Every experience was a valuable one, I think we all would agree.
the major events of today
- playing Apples to Apples and making up pizza places with the students at The Learning Center, a school for adults to train for the GED, finish a high school diploma, etc.
- eating homemade ice cream at the Brown Cow (and then having to switch plans after standing outdoors for a bit because of a bus miscommunication)
- hanging out at the Peace Corner, a facility for teens and young people to play after school
Quite an eventful adventurous one. Excited for tomorrow.
