Over the weekend, I caught up on a couple of my favorite podcasts, and to my surprise, two of my favorite hosts mentioned visiting Kansas City!
My hero, Hanna Rosin, spoke about speaking to some women at a “working-class college” in Kansas City on Slate’s DoubleX Gabfest. I’m not sure what college she’s talking about (maybe UMKC?), but I wish I could have been in on that discussion.
Then my other hero, Ira Glass, host of “This American Life,” dedicated about twenty-five minutes of his show to interviews with employees of Worlds of Fun.
Now go listen to both of these podcasts, not only for their mention of KC, but mainly because they’re interesting, entertaining and worth your time!
