So…as I sit in my room, I sit here thinking, “Wow, where has the year gone?”
Sadly, this will be the last this year I’m coming to you from Tube Socks and Sports Bras. It’s been a good run, guys. But like every good run, it must come to an end.
It seems like just yesterday I was writing my first blog post and trying to find the most embarrassing picture to go along with it.
I’m really going to miss all those Thursday period 8 frees I spent trying to figure out what to write about and get the whole blog written in one period.
I just want to thank everyone who has sat through my rants about the Chiefs and my endless obsession over college basketball.
Also, shout out to everyone for reading my blogs as you sit at home in your room procrastinating on homework or surfing through DNO during class. I’m glad my blog could be there for you during those times.
But now, as my time to depart has come, I leave you with just a little review of what we have been through this year. The ups and the downs in sports. The best and the worst of the year.
The Best of the Year:
1) March Madness living up to the hype
2) Sporting KC being the coolest kids in town
3) The real ballers of CYO doin’ work on the court
The Worst of the Year:
1) The Chiefs being the worst team (yeah, that sucked)
2) Softball and wrestling getting the short end of the stick
I hope that if one thing happened while you read my blog was that you were somewhat entertained while maybe learning a little something here and there about sports.
So, this is it. So long my beloved Tube Socks and Sports Bras. It’s been real.
