Varsity lacrosse team defeats St. Thomas Aquinas High School

St. Teresa’s Academy Varsity lacrosse team defeats St. Thomas Aquinas on Apr. 17 at St. Teresa’s Academy. The final score of the game was 18-1.

The St. Teresa’s Academy varsity lacrosse team played St. Thomas Aquinas at a home conference game April. 17 at 4:30 pm.

The Stars started the game strong, scoring five points before Aquinas called a time out. By half time, the score was 12 to one with St. Teresa’s in the lead. The final score of the game was 18 to one, securing another win for the St. Teresa’s varsity lacrosse game.

The Stars also defeated Shawnee Mission East on April. 19 at St. Teresa’s Academy Kevin Gray Field.

Three seniors on the St. Teresa’s varsity lacrosse team have committed to continue playing lacrosse in college. Monica Looney will be continuing her lacrosse career at Regis University, Clare Ryan will be playing at Benedictine College and Olivia Matlock at Monmouth University.
