Emma Allen: Thrifty [singlepic id=3806 w=320 h=240 float=right]
1. Where do you shop? I practically live in thrift stores (Majr Thrift, Avenue, Savers). Sometimes I get stuff at the sale rack at forever21
2. What/who is your fashion inspiration? No one…I mean, myself I guess. I wear things that I like that other people don’t like or would even wear…I think it’s fun.
3. Describe your style in 3 words? unexpected, cheap, fun
4. Favorite clothing item in your closet? My red, white, and blue off the shoulder crop top from Oxfam charity shop in London.
5. How did developed this style/what lead you to it? My experience in thrift stores has inspired my style. When I get dressed in the morning, I don’t even think about what other people will say. I just put it on.
“My older brother calls me a hippie when I wear my hammer pants.”
“Most mornings my brothers ask me what the heck I’m wearing.”
“One day I was out shopping, and it was cold out so I was wearing this cool vintage over-sized sweater from my mom’s closet. I thought I looked really good until this old guy came up to me and told me he had the same exact sweater…he was literally like eighty years old.”

5. How did developed this style/what lead you to it? I just really like skinny jeans and men’s t-shirts… I hate girls’ t-shirts because they have this awkward little piece of cloth as the sleeve.

4. Describe your style in 3 words? vintage, indie, classy
5. Favorite clothing item in your closet? I have this little black dress that I wear a lot from H&M, and it goes with everything.

3. Describe your style in 3 words? colorful, trendy, varied
4. Favorite clothing item in your closet? Lime green Uggs and mustard colored Patagonia pullover
5. How did you developed this style/what lead you to it? Well basically everything I own is really bright and colorful. I don’t always mean for my outfits to have clashing bright colors. Usually I just don’t even think about my outfits, so whenever I [put clothes together] the outfit ends up being really bright. But I also like watching my older sisters’ style, that definitely influenced me.
