STA’s fall festival took place Oct. 18 in the M&A Building auditorium. While the night’s theme of water was originally an accident, it was later inspired by world events.
“It didn’t start off being on purpose, it started off being, ‘This is pretty, oh I like this one,'” choir teacher Ms. Michelle McIntire said. “Then I started realizing how much water there was in the news at that time. There were serious floods, tsunamis, and all kinds of bad weather. This abundance of water [made me think] when it was a good thing, and when is it not so much of a good thing, and how we come together to help each other.”
