Anyone on campus could feel the nerves and excitement in the auditorium after school on Monday as students from STA and Rockhurst High School got ready for the fall musical auditions. STA is putting on the musical “Once Upon a Mattress” this fall. It is the first production to be put on since returning from summer break.

“I auditioned for the musical freshman year thinking maybe I wouldn’t make it and when I got a part I was so excited,” sophomore Sofia Stockwood said.  “It really made me love theater so I’m coming back for another year to audition.”
