Auditions for STA’s fall musical, “Spamalot” began Monday and were open to all STA students along with any high school boys. The first part of auditions was held after school Monday and Tuesday, with callbacks on Wednesday. The students prepared extensively for auditions where they showed off their abilities to sing, act and dance. The cast list was released Wednesday evening.

Sophomore Kelly Ann Greene auditioned for her first STA musical this year.

“I like the new experiences and I like putting myself out of my comfort zone with this and I think it’s just a good way to meet new people,” Greene said.

“Spamalot” is a cast of 35 students who made it through the rounds of cuts during auditions. The official dates of the musical performances have not been released but will likely be in November.
