The STA Varsity soccer team beat St. James Academy with a score of 3-2 on May 9.

Due to an injury, sophomore Demi Spini was unable to play in the game, but she cheered on her team from the sidelines.

“It’s fun to watch my teammates play, but it’s hard knowing I can’t go out and help,” Spini said.

This was their last regular season game before they compete in the districts tournament next week.

“All our hard work this season has prepared us well for districts,” Spini said, “This win gives us the confidence to start [districts] off on the right foot.”
