The Q and A club hosted a bake sale in the commons during lunch April 24. The proceeds went towards Kansas City Center for Inclusion, an organization that provides a “safe welcoming community space where LGBTQIA+ individuals, their families, friends, and straight allies can come for education, resources, and activities” according to their website.

Students were welcome to different treats made by members of the Q and A club. Each item sold for $1 in the Commons on the left side of the Commons.

Senior and club member Charlotte Sturr wishes for the proceeds to help the Kansas City for Inclusion.

“We hope [the money] helps the center if they ever any meetings or anything like that,” said Sturr. “I know they host an equality prom, so it could help with funds for that.”
