Dance Team competes at State

The Dance Team competed at the Family Arena in St. Louis, MO and placed 2nd in both mix and jazz. Neither of the coaches were able to attend the State Competition so Mrs. Drummond and Dr. Baker chaperoned the team.
Sophomore, Lily Todd enjoyed the team bonding aspect of traveling with her team. Todd said, “We had an amazing team dinner at an Italian restaurant which was so fun, the morning of state was pretty crazy because we had 12 girls running in and out of hotel rooms getting ready for state, doing hair, makeup, and packing our bags because we had to leave and be checked out of the hotel by 6:30 a.m.”
