Pre-Health Club made holiday cards for soldiers deployed in the Middle East at their meeting Dec. 1. They then invited the whole school to make the cards for the soldiers and drop them off in science teacher and Pre-Health Club moderator Taylor Scott’s classroom Dec. 4 and Dec. 5.

Scott was inspired to send the cards to soldiers in the Middle East when her friend was deployed there.

“She is one of my best friends. I know her from college and it’s been hard to talk to her knowing that she’s homesick and this is the first holiday season that she’ll spend away from her family,” said Scott. “To my knowledge the rest of her unit is kind of in the same boat, this is their first deployment away.”
