The Women’s Circle of Giving was held in Windmoor during Activity 1 and 2 Thursday, Oct. 26. The Woman’s Circle of Giving is a group of women who donate money to help fund different programs in the school.

Several of these women, faculty and staff gathered for a lunch catered by Bistro. STA president Nan Bone led this gathering as many teachers affected by these donations got up and thanked the women. A couple of the teachers were English teacher Robert Tonnies who thanked them for funding scholarships for students to go on the Kairos retreat held for juniors and seniors. English teacher Dianne Hirner also thanked the women for the donations that helped the StarWrite Center.

Many of these teachers brought students with them who spoke about how the programs have impacted them.

Several of these women are the school’s alumnae who felt very passionately about helping the school.
