Incoming freshmen participated in STA’s annual Star Night Thursday, April 27 from 6:15-8:00 p.m. Star Night is intended to welcome incoming freshmen into their advisories by meeting some of the volunteers from their respective advisories. Current STA students talk to the future stars about what it’s like to go to STA, brief them on the advisory and answer any questions they have about STA.

“I always enjoy Star Night,” sophomore Olivia Wirtz from the Absher advisory said. “I love meeting the incoming freshmen and getting to know them a little bit before they join the advisory.”

Incoming freshman Lauren Boxx said her favorite part of Star Night was “meeting the people in [her] advisory and getting to know each other.” Boxx, who currently goes to St. Thomas Moore, is “very excited to go to STA because everyone is so welcoming that it doesn’t even make you anxious or nervous.”
