The final results of the DartNewsOnline poll matched Green (bachelorette #1) with Franke (bachelor #1), Hough (#2) with Lang (#4), Mediavilla (#3) with Hunt (#2) and Carroll (#4) with Godfrey (#3).
Green: “For this whole blind date experience I did it because it sounded really fun and like a good way to get out of my comfort zone. Going into it, I wasn’t too nervous and when I found out that my date was Jack Franke I was really excited! Jack is really easy to talk to so it made the date really easy going! I’m not sure how the readers decided to pair us up but I’m glad they did because I had a lot of fun! Overall, I would definitely recommend experiencing something like this. Even if it doesn’t go well, it’s a fun way to branch out and meet someone new!”
Hough: “I decided to participate in the blind date because I thought it would be a cool experience and a funny story to tell. I was a little nervous about the date at first, but when I found out that I was paired with Aaron I was both relieved and excited! Aaron and I are good friends and we always have fun together so I could see why readers decided to pair us up. The date itself was very laid back and fun. I would definitely recommend being open to an experience like this because it’s a great way to branch out and meet new people. It’s also kind of cool to see what kind of person other people think would make a good match for you!”
Mediavilla: “I was pretty excited going into this blind date experience because I love meeting new people. I offered to be part of this story both out of curiously and just because I thought it would be a fun thing to do. Initially, I was very nervous in the days leading up to the date because I’ve never really been on one before. However, when I found out I had to go on a date with Trey I wasn’t nervous at all because we already knew each other very well and are close friends. I wasn’t surprised at all in finding that we got paired together because we have so much in common and he’s very easy to talk to! The date was super fun and I enjoyed getting to know all of the guys from Prep News. The food was awesome and the conversation never got boring. The only downside to the date was that Trey made me pay for both of our meals, and trust me, he ordered a lot. Overall, I think the ‘blind date’ experience is a great way for individuals to meet new people and I would recommend it to anyone who is considering it. Even if things don’t work out at the end of you date, at least you can say you gave it a shot and put yourself out there!”
Carroll: “I mainly decided to be a part of this ‘blind date’ experience because I was interested in the type of guy people thought I should be paired with, and also just for fun. A lot of my friends thought it was hilarious I was going to be going on a ‘date,’ if that tells you anything about how experienced I am in this area. Going into the date I was a little bit nervous but also excited to see who I was matched with. (Okay, now that I’m thinking about it I did wait in my car until the other girls showed up so I didn’t have to go in alone; maybe I wasn’t as confident as I thought.) I thought I knew who the person I got matched with was but it turned out I was wrong, so it really was a blind date! My date was “Bachelor #3″ a.k.a. John Godfrey. I had never met John before, so it was cool to meet him even if under slightly awkward circumstances. We kind of have similar things in common so I can see why we were put together and I think we got along pretty well. John and I shared a table with Trey and Kat which was very fun and we ordered a Skyscraper, something I’ve never done before. John is a nice guy and I’m glad I got to meet him! Overall, I’m glad I decided to go on this blind date because I met someone new and I think it’s a great way to put yourself out there!”

Only one of these was a blind date… The rest were already really good friends with their dates
