Throughout this spring and summer, the world language department is hosting two international trips. While Spanish teachers Julie Gargallo, Julia Amigo and Marina Lopez are taking students to Spain March 21-28, French teacher Alice Amick and Latin teacher Sue Marquis will be traveling with students to Paris and Rome June 7-18. Both trips are filled to capacity with students, all excited and anticipating the trips.

“I’m really excited to go and experience the culture and the atmosphere of Spain,” sophomore Camille Goodwin said. “I’ve never been to Europe, so the whole thing is going to be really new and different.” Goodwin is planning to attend the trip to Spain in March.

There was an informational meeting for the Spain trip last week, where students talked about getting to know each other and were given passport information.  There is an upcoming meeting for the Paris/Rome trip Sept. 15.
