Millions of years ago, when humans were little more than animals, they amassed around a ripe fruit tree or animal carcass to eat for survival. With evolution, groups of early humans collected food and brought it to favored locations. Ultimately, sharing vital resources enhanced social bonds. Thus, it is in our nature for food – both preparation and consumption – to bring us together. These images, photographed between April 5 and 13, illustrate various incidents in which STA students, families, and friends gathered to share a culinary experience.
