Student Community Organization puts on student appreciation day each year. According to SCO president senior Katie Evans, they try to carry on the traditions that students expect out of the day. These things include the face painting, balloon animals, volley ball nets and free ice cream treats.
“In the past, [student appreciation day] is one of everyone’s favorite days of the year,” Evans said. “I know it’s one of mine.”
