The semi-annual NHS Culver’s Night took place last Wednesday at the State Line Culver’s. According to NHS moderator Debi Hudson, STA received 10% of the profits and received $425 overall. Hudson said that this money will go towards the STA emergency fund, which assists with things like tuition and other items for students. Hudson also said that because the senior class had the most sales money at Culver’s Night, they will receive a certificate for a free custard. STA holds Culver’s Night once a semester and the next one is April 11, according to Hudson.
“It’s a great fundraiser because it assists a good cause, it’s easy to implement and it allows people to gather and eat somewhere away from STA,” Hudson said. “It’s nice to see parents and alums join in the fun.
