State swimming and diving results

Four STA swimmers and an STA diver competed in the MSHSAA Girls State Swim and Dive Championships Friday and Saturday at the City of St. Peters Rec-Plex in St. Peters, just outside of St. Louis.

Junior swimmer Libby Hutchinson finished 31st in the 200 yard freestyle with a preliminary time of 2:02.32. Hutchinson also finished 37th in the girls 100 yard freestyle with a preliminary time of 55.59 seconds.

Sophomore Maddie Adam, senior Darby Pedersen and juniors Libby Hutchinson and Molly Winkler finished 19th in the 200 yard freestyle relay with a preliminary time of 1:44.08. Adam, Pedersen, Hutchinson and Winkler also placed 25th in the girls 400 yard freestyle relay with a preliminary time of 3:51.68.

Senior diver Sophia Prochnow finished 47th in diving with a score of 74.15.
