Another season of selling raffle tickets began October 3 with a "Downton Abbey"-themed skit performed by the STA faculty in the auditorium. During this assembly, STA president Nan Bone presented the Pant, the traditional reward for selling ten tickets.
The Stars were defeated by the Blue Valley Tigers in two sets in the fourth annual Metro Sports Slam. Members of the team said that team struggled throughout the match.
