A group of STA students attended the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. this past weekend. Director of campus ministry Andrea Arredondo flew with a group of 23 students to the march last Thursday.

According to the The March for Life website, a group of pro-life Americans gather at the National Mall to celebrate life and protest the passing of the 1973 Roe V. Wade bill that legalized abortion nationwide.

Senior Kailee Ford has been to the march three times.

“Every year I gain a sense of community, and I learn more about and strengthen my beliefs,” Ford said. “I learn more about what it means to be pro-life and what that label means.”
