The National Honors Society held a fundraiser for Wayside Waifs the week of April 23. The fundraiser was made to give supplies to Wayside Waifs and care for the animals they host.

Wayside Waifs is privately funded, independent, non-profit charity that shelters abused dogs and cats in Grandview, Missouri. Wayside Waifs is completely run on donations. The fundraiser called for old blankets, stuffed animals and paper towels for the animals at the shelter.

Supplies were gathered all week in the lobbies of the M&A Building and Donnelly Hall. Students were rewarded with a dress-down day for bringing in supplies.
