Asian Cultures Club hosted a fundraiser Feb. 7 and 8 in Windmoor during both activities. They played a movie and sold snacks such as Pocky, marble soda, Asian candies, dumplings and more. The fundraiser raised money for the club’s expenses.

“Asian Cultures Club is a club that celebrates the different cultures and countries of Asia,” President of Asian Cultures Club, Oli Carrol said. “Our purpose is to educate students on different cultures of the world, focusing on the cultures of the continent of Asia.”

All students are encouraged to join, whether to learn more about cultures from around the world or their own culture.

“We conduct this through short informational powerpoints at the beginning of each meeting followed by a presentation of the culture, and then we discuss it in meetings,” Carrol said.
