The Passing of the Legacy ceremony was held Aug. 17 to welcome the class of 2021.

On the first day of school, Aug. 17, St. Teresa’s Academy welcomed new students and teachers to school with the Passing of the Legacy ceremony. The ceremony began with a speech from President Nan Bone and a prayer from new campus minister Andrea Essner. The senior class president then gave a speech to the freshman. Next, all new students lined up to receive a blessed medal, prayer card and hug from a senior. The ceremony was closed with singing and dancing by students, faculty and staff.
