Gallery: Passing of the Legacy
Seniors hand off a prayer card and medal to the incoming freshman at the Passing of the Legacy ceremony that is held every year on the first day of school.

The 2016-2017 school year kicked off Aug. 15 with the Passing of the Legacy Ceremony in the Goppert Center. STA president Nan Bone began the ceremony with an introduction of STA’s history and the continuing legacy that comes with each new generation of students. Senior class president Gabby Ayala gave her advice and shared her own experience of freshman year. The ceremony ended with the seniors welcoming the incoming freshmen with a prayer card, a medal and a hug.
