Julia Kerrigan
Hello! I’m Julia Kerrigan, a sophomore, staff writer and page designer. As a first year Dart member, it’s daunting to think about the fact that I am such a small part of a huge operation. Nevertheless, I am so glad to be on staff with the rest of these talented and hilarious girls. I’m excited to write about topics that interest me, such as new technology, women’s rights and changes in our school community. I’m on the STA Math Team, so be expecting lots of charts and graphs from the design end. You’ll most likely find me waiting in line at the cafeteria microwaves for my instant mac and cheese, wandering the streets of KC playing Pokemon Go or reading a book from the “Top 40 Books with Female Protagonists” list. The hardest part of being on staff will be letting go of my dear Oxford comma, something I previously thought would have to be pried from my cold, dead hands. I like to think I’m pretty friendly, and I love getting to know students from all grades. Feel free to approach me, whether it’s to compare Harry Potter fan theories or share story ideas.
