STA held an Alumnae Choral Performance Dec. 4 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the auditorium. The choir practiced in the Windmoor Chapel at 5 p.m. and joined fellow alumnae in the front hall of M&A. Several alumnae walked through the halls of M&A, describing their former advisories and classrooms. Alumnae enjoyed a wine and chocolate reception before and after the performance. The reception also included STA’s Christmas Book and homes tour tickets for sale.

The choir sang ten songs, including the Alma Mater and holiday classics such as “White Christmas.”

Aluma Amy Winslow Fennesy, who graduated STA in 1979, explained her favorite aspects of the concert.

“I enjoy singing and this is a great opportunity to do something that I haven’t done in a long time with some very old friends,” said Fennesy said.

Three alumnae, 1977 graduate Susie Adams, 1975 graduate Karen Engebretson, and 1978 graduate Roberta Gumbel, developed the idea of reuniting to perform.
