STA’s annual “Karlin Kabaret” has its opening night tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the Commons. The show will run March 4-5 and admission is $5 for students and $10 for adults. The theme of this year’s show is “The World Goes ‘Round” with music by Kander and Ebb. Popular shows written by them include Chicago and Cabaret, according to senior and Karlin Kabaret cast member Connor Hodes.
“It’s a little different from your average musical,” Hodes wrote. “Since it’s a song cycle, there is no dialogue! However, this year we’ve added in some very fun props and choreography, making the show so much fun to watch!”
The show is about an hour and a half long and has a ten minute intermission.
