Senior Dorian Bailey signed her letter of intent to play soccer at the University of North Caroline Feb. 4 in the Goppert Center. Before the official signing, Bailey’s former coaches Huw Williams, Barry Cummings, Mark Sheldon, Shaun Owens, Christ Travalent and Jeremy Mcelduff praised her skill and commended her dedication to the sport on both club and school teams.

After being approached by the University of North Carolina’s head coach Anson Dorrance her sophomore year, Bailey verbally committed to the college. Two years later, alongside coaches, friends and parents, Lisa and Bryan, Bailey would put this commitment into writing.

‘[University of North Carolina] has a really strong tradition with their soccer program and they have good academics…their coaches are really cool and I just like the atmosphere of the school” Bailey commented on her decision.
