Hey all. I’ve been MIA for the past couple of weeks and totally have been lagging on my blog posts. Sorry about that. Anyway, this week I didn’t really have a focus… I just went out on the town and snapped what I saw. Hope you all enjoy the product of my lazy three-day weekend.
Keeping warm while staying stylish is a difficult task. This chick kept it simple with black skinny jeans, a pair of great boots, and a warm yet super cool Carhartt jacket (I want one!). I also really love her hair.
I love how this gal can so subtly, yet effectively, display her style. With her cardigan, leather loafers and adorable glasses, she has a sort of preppy feel, which she counteracts with her jeans and relaxed tee.
I caught this guy mid-shift. His look seemed so effortless and simple. If you look closely, he has tons of accessories: a hat, earrings, nose ring, bracelet and glasses. Usually that seems like way too much, but the sizing and placement, whether it was intentional or not, makes them all work really well together. I also like the way his shirt looks– rolled up and a bit messy, but still interesting.
As I’m sure most of you know, Mad for Plaid was this past weekend! I was on a team with Mary Campbell and Emma Fernandez. We had a fabulous time sewing, gluing, watching criminal minds, etc. throughout this past week in preparation for the show. Our competition was SO AMAZING and I can honestly say that I am so proud of every single contestant, whether I knew them or not. Congrats to everyone who was in the show. My team went with a grey two piece and a tailored jacket. We wanted to make something classy but cool, and I think it turned out pretty well. Shoutout to Emma for being so freaking gorgeous.
