Cross Country 59 players (19 seniors) Varsity/JV – Rim Rock Sept. 22 “Compared to last year, I think both varsity and JV are going to be a lot better,” sophomore Ann Campbell said. “I am looking forward to seeing how are team does at STATE and seeing if we can improve on our fourth place finish from last year.”
Volleyball 43 players (2 seniors) Varsity – Sept. 21 vs. Cor Jesu Academy
JV – October 2 vs. Pembroke HIll
“Our goal is to continue to improve every day and be one of the top teams in the nation by the end of October,” coach Abbie Lane said.
Golf 13 players (6 seniors) Varsity – Sept. 28 vs. Sion
JV – Sept. 30 vs. Sion
“I feel like we have a team with a lot of potential this year,” junior Frankie Neunuebel said. “I am most looking forward to seeing the team as a whole reach out [with their] full potential.”
Softball 21 players (3 seniors) JV and Varsity – Sept. 27 vs. St. Joseph Lafayette HS “2012 should be a great year for our program,” head coach Ty Abney said. “The team has a lot of character and it will be fun to see how far their hard work will take us.”
Dance Team 19 (2 seniors) Varsity – September 25 “I would have to say that the hardest part about being on the dance team would be waking up early in the morning for 6 am practices,” freshman Ali Yancey said. “But it is fun at the same time.”
Tennis 24 (3 seniors) Varsity/JV – Sept. 20 vs St. James Academy “We have a great team and Meaghan King, our number one freshman, will be leading us to STATE this year,” junior Kathleen Connor said.
