STA seniors made their final college decisions by National College Decision Day on May 1, 2013. The seniors wore their college shirts and made a collage of their college names on a white board in Windmoor. National College Decision Day was also student appreciation day at STA and students spent their frees and lunch and activity periods celebrating in the quad.
The STA varsity soccer team played in a home game against Lee Summit West High School April 24. The team had a slow start, but upped their game big time in the second half. The Stars defeated Lee Summit West High School with a final score of 7-1.
