Another season of selling raffle tickets began October 3 with a "Downton Abbey"-themed skit performed by the STA faculty in the auditorium. During this assembly, STA president Nan Bone presented the Pant, the traditional reward for selling ten tickets.
One group many students have heard of but may be unfamiliar with are CSJ campers. These students have been nominated by their teachers to join the group based on their leadership skills in and outside of the classroom. Yet many students are still left wondering, what exactly do CSJ campers do?
Freshman Samantha Spence dreams of dancing professionally, which requires making some sacrifices, such as having to drop out of the STA varsity dance team this year.
Why travel one month with complete strangers around the world? Maybe to experience different cultures or to help countries in need. Junior Carson Beineman did just that and misses it every day.
