Sunday morning, May 7, STA’s FBLA [Future Business Leaders of America] chapter loaded up a team of 8 members to participate in the March of Dimes’ March for babies. March of Dimes is the service partner of FBLA. According to their mission statement, “The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.”

The walk was held at 1400 Walnut in Downtown Kansas City. It began at 10 a.m. and lasted the duration of the one mile journey. FBLA participates in the walk each year, in addition to hosting baby bottle fundraising efforts that support March of Dimes.
