Stars defeat Kearney High School
Stars baketball team gets Pink Out victory in double overtime.

The Stars took to the court to face Kearney High School Feb. 7 in their annual Pink Out game. The Varsity game went into overtime tied 40-40. The game went on again into double overtime tied 42-42 but finally the Stars came on top with a final score of 55-45.
“We literally told ourselves that we weren’t going to lose,” Varsity player Lindsey Blaich said. “When it went into overtime we were really hype and when it went into double overtime, that was even better.”
