Student athletes sign letters of intent

Letters of intent were signed Feb. 1, National Signing Day, marking the first day of the calendar year that students can sign their commitment to whichever college they attend.

Seniors Martina Florido, Mary Keller, Helen Krause, Elexa Pierson, Paige Powell, Tess Relihan, Meghan Schmidt, Macy Trujillo, Gabby Wimes and Emma Winfrey signed their letters on intent to play a sport in college Feb. 1.  Before  the letters were signed, athletics director Mark Hough prefaced with a brief speech congratulating the girls on their decisions. The ceremony was held in the Goppert Center with a reception following the event in Verheyen.
