St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade takes place on March 17. The parade moves from Midtown to Broadway, from Linwood to 43rd St. The festivities begin at 11 a.m.

X Ambassadors

On March 17, the X Ambassadors will be holding a free concert. The concert will be located at 1100 Walnut St. KCMO. The X Ambassadors will play from 5 to 11:30 p.m.

Attractions

Doughnut Lounge

This new restaurant incorporates doughnuts into different meals of the day. For example, you can order a s’more doughnut, a creme brulee doughnut, a maple bacon doughnut or other types for breakfast. They also combine doughnuts with Mac n’ Cheese, pizza and biscuits and gravy. The restaurant is located at 4117 Pennsylvania Ave KCMO 64111.

Breakout KC

At Breakout KC, you can choose from different rooms to try to escape out of. Once you choose a room or decide to go random, you have 60 mins. to breakout from your escape room. This involves cracking codes, solving riddles and finding clues. It costs $28 per person participating and is located at 114 W 3rd St. #101 KCMO 64105.

Sky Zone

At Sky Zone, the walls and floors are covered in trampolines, making a fun activity for Spring Break. In order to attend Sky Zone, you must go onto the website, choose a location and pick a date and time to attend. For a 30 min. jump, it costs $12, for 60 mins. it costs $16, for 90 mins. it costs $21 and for 120 mins. it costs $26. One location is the Sky Zone in Lee’s Summit, located at 2801 NE McBaine Dr., Lee’s Summit MO 64064.
