Over Christmas break, the varsity basketball team won the Raymore-Peculiar High School Tournament, beating one of the top teams in the area. Last week, the team won the Hy-Vee Team of the Week with the help of students by voting for them on KCTV 5’s website. Senior guard Eleanor Lueke received “The Star’s high school athlete of the week” from the Kansas City Star. The current overall record for the varsity team is 8-3.
