Within the past few months, seniors have had college applications due as well as recommendation request forms. Katie Dolan, former teacher at STA, wrote many senior recommendation letters. The college counselors have created a “thank you” box for Dolan.

“She truly has gone above and beyond in writing letters since her move,” college counselor Debi Hudson said.

If you would like to send a thank you note, drop it off before Thanksgiving break and Hudson will include the letters in a package to Dolan.
As well as letters, college counselors want to encourage seniors to research more scholarships for college. Websites recommended by Hudson to research scholarships are www.fastweb.com, https://www.unigo.com/scholarships and https://www.growyourgiving.org/scholarships.
