STA volleyball falls to Olathe Northwest

The St. Teresa’s Academy volleyball team lost to Olathe Northwest High School Wednesday Sept. 23. The Stars played a three out of five set against the Olathe Ravens and lost in three.

During this game junior Katlyn Giefer injured her knee during the third game. Giefer was setting the ball to her teammate when her knee dislocated. As of now, the varsity setter’s injury is unknown.

“I am looking forward to the journey of recovery because I know I will learn a lot,” Giefer. “I can’t wait to get back on the court as soon as possible.”

The STA JV team will play tomorrow 8:00 a.m. at Bishop Miege High School and the varsity Stars will play their next games tomorrow 8:00 a.m. Blue Springs South High School.
