The players of the recreational, co-ed Brookside Soccer team, Krookside Kingz, come from three private high schools in Kansas City: St. Teresa’s Academy, Rockhurst High School, and Notre Dame de Sion. The name “Krookside Kingz” comes from the name of the home of many of the players, Brookside. Although a few team members have played with competitive clubs and their high school teams, many players merely play on the team as a fun weekend activity. Currently, the Krookside Kingz do not hold weekly practices but have a 1-1 win/loss record.
